Zuzanna Skalska

Born in Warsaw, Zuzanna Skalska moved to the Netherlands in 1992. She studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and the Royal Academy of Fine Art & Design in Den Bosch. After graduating in 1998, she started her career as Sensorial Trend Analyst in the strategy department of Philips Design, where she was part of the team responsible for the revolutionary Ambient Intelligent project.

In 2001, she started working for the largest design studio in the Netherlands - VanBerlo in Eindhoven - where she was responsible for constant monitoring of trends in various branches of the industry.

Since 2007, Zuzanna has been operating under her own brand - 360 Inspiration. Among her clients are large corporations, as well as medium-sized and small companies. She's the author of a series of books on trends - 360 Trend Reports - awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2009. She runs the 360inspiration.nl blog.

 Zuzanna is a lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Design, at the TU/e in Eindhoven. Board member of the Dutch Design Week (DDW) for 7 years, she currently serves as a member of the Capital D advisory board and advisor regarding innovations and design for Polish and Dutch government institutions. At the same time, she is a speaker at various international conferences, and conducts lectures and workshops on trends for schools and businesses. She is the originator and co-founder of the School of Form in Poznań.

Skalska is also the author of many articles on trends in modern design and is often invited as a member of the jury of prestigious chapters. She is one of the most influential women in Polish design.
