On the creation of workspace for millennials and generation Z. Study tour to the LPP Fashion Lab campus.
People belonging to generations Y and Z are becoming the largest employee group, especially in the creative sector where knowledge of cultural trends and new technologies is essential. The workplace itself is no less important for young people - it is supposed to stimulate creativity and teamwork, but also be environmentally-friendly. For years now, such offices have sprung in creative clusters in Shoreditch in London, and in Norrebro in Copenhagen. The trend has also reached Poland.
One of the largest creative campuses belongs to LPP, the owner of the well-known clothing brands: Reserved, Cropp, Mohito, House and Sinsay. More than 700 people work on the collections at the Gdańsk headquarters - currently undergoing expansion works. In a profession requiring constant creative work and breaking patterns, the surroundings have to be creativity-boosting and stimulating. Beata Szymańska from Studio 1:1, the author of the interior concept of LPP Fashion Lab, will discuss the ways to create facilities that embrace these ideas. Moreover, the participants of the workshops will have the chance to get to know the ins and outs of the process of creating a collection.
The event is part of FASHION BLOCK.
