Two designers from the Traffic Design Association will present a diagnosis of Poland's public space, and based on their actions will show how to affect the general visual state of the space around us.
As a rule, errors mean the breaking of existing rules, an attempt to disturb the status quo. The operating system of Poland's public space has been based on a series of errors and has little to do with order. The Traffic Design Association undertakes projects which are positive errors in relation to existing chaos, from grassroots level reshaping the way in which the current useless system dis/functions. During the lecture, you will learn more about the main sins involved in designing public spaces and learn how to design usable elements on the cusp of practical and graphic design, such as: shop fronts, shop windows, informative elements and small architectural elements.
The lecture is part of CITY + ARCHITECTURE BLOCK. Free admission.
