The lecturer will present selected social campaigns to promote reading using examples both from Poland and abroad.

Grzegorz Sikora, the author of many graphic campaigns aimed at promoting books and reading, he will share his ideas and show examples of his work, such as book cover designs without any titles in which it is the image rather than words that communicates with the reader. He will also present various  posters created for Polish bookshops.

The main goal of the lecture is to answer the question whether such campaigns make sense, whether they are needed and what they should look like.

The meeting is addressed to all those who are interested in graphic design focused on reading and books.
