The lecture will show the problems and challenges faced by designers and architects who create in historical and post-industrial buildings.
As part of the lecture, speakers will talk about their experience in designing in existing buildings, where the context was a strong starting point for new interventions. They will try to answer the questions, how the existing nature of current spaces can influence design decisions and how to solve the problems encountered while working on such projects. The issues raised will concern not only interior design in a cultural and historical context, but also difficulties and experiences in cooperation with subcontractors and investors. The lecture is dedicated to designers and architects, especially those operating in the field of revitalization.
The lecture is part of INTERIORS BLOCK. Free admission.
