Małgorzata Knobloch i Igor Wiktorowicz | Witamina D
They founded the design studio and the proprietary brand of Witamina D in 2013. As their brand they produce furniture and other objects designed for home and garden. Their designs are characterized by quality, craftsmanship, local identity, simplicity and timeless forms. Their projects have been presented at many exhibitions at home and abroad. As part of the studio they take on competitions, implement projects for special orders and projects for industry. Their key achievements include: first place in the competition for the urban furniture for Gdansk; an honorable mention in the competition for the radiator inspired by the SLOW theme - Terma Design 2014, a design for the main exhibition of Gdynia Design Days 2015; "Kids Design Space - Urban Jungle" project for Open Mind fundation.
Craftsman: Wickerwork Krystyna Januszkiewicz
Ms Krystyna Januszkiewicz has been involved in wickerwork for 20 years. Initially, it was her paid work. She gained experience in a factory producing furniture and accessories from wicker. Currently, it is her passion and a way to spend her free time. Ms Krystyna's plaiting skills can be seen at the annual Black Weddings in Kluki, and the products she makes can be bought at regional bazaars of handicrafts.
